Memorandum submitted to Kalaburagi DC

As part of the Nation wide Campaign on Peace & Humanity a memorandum was submitted to the Hon'ble President of India through the Deputy Commsioner of Kalaburagi.
In the memorandum, it has been demanded from the Hon'ble President to
  1. All those accused of killings, arson, lynching, burning, inciting for violence and hate speeches should be immediately arrested and prosecuted by fast track courts.
  2. The ministers, MPs and party office bearers, involved in hate speeches and provocative and threatening statements should be sacked from their positions of authority and should be dealt with in accordance with law.
  3. Prevention of Communal Violence Bill should be immediately enacted.
  4. Full compensation should be made and security should be provided to all victims of communal violence in the country. Security should also be provided to the individuals and families who are at risk of communal targeting or who have received threats.
  5. Press Council of India, NBA and other relevant organisations should be directed to act on clear violation of established norms of journalistic ethics by certain newspapers and TV channels, in conducting media trials, propagating false and baseless allegations and tarnishing the image of certain targeted sections of the society.
  6. Similarly, internet should be watched for communally provocative, abusive and venomous stuff and stringent action should be initiated against the individuals responsible under Information Technology Act.
  7. Government should reach out to minority, Dalit and Adivasi groups and organisations and discuss with them the measures required to inculcate sense of security and well being in them and should immediately act accordingly.
And also appealed to him, as the custodian of the Indian Constitution, to urgently intervene to defuse the situation and prevail upon the Indian government and make it fulfill its constitutional responsibility of protecting the fundamental rights of People of India, without any discrimination.
